About Me

Brian Tabor

"As a coach I firmly believe all goals are ultimately performance goals. Every desk jockey and weekend warrior to tri-athlete or strongman, needs to perform better. Improved performance will foster all other goals through a measurable process. That process should be systematic yet flexible, using the most appropriate tool for the job, and able to overcome barriers to our path. While studying Exercise Science I have found that simplified training works best. The way I see it simplified training includes focusing on improved movement, progressive load, and adequate recovery. These are essential and extremely effective at improving how we live and perform. So, get up and move."

Brian earned his Bachelors of Science and Education in Sports Science from the University of Kansas. During that time he was a lead investigator and assistant in the Human Performance and Energy Balance Laboratories, working closely with the Athletics Department as well as general population. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, has over 7 years of training experience, and competes as an amateur strongman.
